We will help a social or community group that would like to set up a link with a group in Dedza. This could be a church, youth group, women's group, etc. Such links can help people learn about each other's way of life and share experiences. We hope that people will be able to visit their link groups. When that is not possible, other visitors may be able to take messages, photos and small items in their luggage.

At present, one church in Norwich has such a link. St Luke's Church on Aylsham Road is linked with the Anglican Church in Dedza, which coincidently is also called St Luke's. Parishioners have exchanged letters and photos. When Norwich-Dedza volunteers visited Dedza they videoed part of a service and this has been shown to the congregation at St Luke's in Norwich.

The Norwich church has also sent toys and stationery in the shipping container as presents for the children in the Dedza congregation. St Luke’s in Norwich has raised money for its partner church. Part of this is being used to progress the building of a new, larger church in Dedza and part to buy blankets for needy orphans.

In Sept 2008, the District Commissioner and Senior Chief of Dedza visited Norwich. During the visit they attended a service at St Luke’s and presented the Rev Nick Vesey with a challis from St Luke's in Dedza and a wood carving from the people of Dedza.
